On Tuesday I attended my first Democratic caucus. I live in a conservative neighborhood at the north end of a liberal city, and as I was driving to the caucus I imagined that it would be me, three old ladies, and the sound of crickets.

Karl Rove is a wild and crazy guy

Today President Bush anointed the balding head of Republican clincher John McCain for the Presidency. Does that mean McCain now has official access to the same political machine that destroyed his candidacy in 2000? In other words, now that Republican bystanders are out of the way, when is Karl Rove going to get this party started?
